My house has been disgraced!

I, for one, will be glad when those responsible for the disgrace are no longer here.

We need to study. O.W.L.s are fast approaching.

Padma and Terry, do either of you have any tips for the most efficient way to study for the O.W.L.s?

Also, I don't know who has been trying to leave mistletoe up during March, but you better be careful. Nargles don't care what time of year it is or what condition the mistletoe is in.

The professors have been giving us much more revision to do so far in this term. I barely have time to watch for the creatures thanks to my Prefect duties and my revision.

Luckily, Ginny and I have been doing some revision together during our Prefect rounds, most of which we do together, since Colin and Quigley seem to get along rather well.

Though our Chasers played quite valiantly yesterday against Slytherin, it wasn't enough to win. The good news is, we're still in the lead for the Quidditch Cup. I don't expect it to hold however-Gryffindor plays Hufflepuff on 19 February, and it's sure to be an interesting match, what with the couples that include members from each house.

Over Christmas, Daddy and I went to visit Mum's grave. We left some special flowers there for her, and I hope she liked them.

I should probably make sure I have my assignments for my classes tomorrow.

So We Beat Hufflepuff. Hurrah. Everyone Knows If Finch-Fletchley's Bludger Had Been Just A Little Faster, We Wouldn't Have Won.

They Just Don't Want To Think About It. Luckily, Next Match Is Gryffindor Vs. Slytherin. I Hope Slytherin Gets Beat.

Part Of Me Is Glad That Ginny, Colin, And Myself Stayed Here To Study For The O.W.L.s. They Really Are A Very Important Part Of The School Year.

Harry, Are Ronald And Hermione Okay? What About Lavender And Parvati And Seamus? And Mrs. Weasley, Professor Lupin, Gred And Forge?

We WILL Fight Them. I Intend To Be There Every Step From Here On, No Matter What Role I Partake.

We Need To Have A D.A. Meeting, As Soon As Possible.

Who Agrees?

This Emily Dickinson Is A Lovely Writer. She Knows How To Express Herself So Eloquently.. Here's A Part Of One Of Her Best Pieces..

If I can stop one heart
from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life
the aching,
Or cool one pain
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

*absently fingers the badge on her nightgown, pinned there to make sure it doesn't get stolen*

I had no trouble with any students on the train during my rounds, and the first years were no trouble when I was leading them up here to Ravenclaw House.

*thinks back to something she had heard on the train*

I overheard Marietta Edgecombe mentioning Harry, and she also said that Cho was interested in him. I also heard Ronald at one point telling someone that she had no business going after Harry because Harry didn't like her like that anymore.

*pulls out the September issue of The Quibbler, turning it upside down as usual, closing her curtains, and lighting her wand with a soft "Lumos."*

I can't wait until in the morning.

Well, Daddy reckons the Snorkacks must be hiding or something, not wanting to be found.

Because of that, Daddy said we'll be coming home to Ottery St. Catchpole sometime during the late evening on Monday or early Tuesday.

Well, we're here in Sweden.  No sign of any Snorkacks yet, but as we haven't been here for a week yet, I expect they'll turn up eventually.

And if they don't turn up at all, at least I got to go somewhere this holiday.  Travelling is such an adventure.

My mum's favorite constellation always shines brightly above me.  I love to look at it, because it reminds me of the good times we had together.  I miss you, Mum.

If you want to owl me, feel free to do so at any time.
